Great show overall, First set started off pretty slow but got rolling during the transition from I need a Miracle into Friend of the devil. I really enjoyed Phil singing the last part of FOTD and then playing a killer Tom Thumbs. Phils bass sounds awesome this tour. Ill have to give West LA another listen because I honestly dont remember anything but dancin like a fool until i realized they were playing China Doll, Cumberland was jammed to the max and a banjo could be heard during this song. I didnt see one on stage but I guess JK has a banjo pick up now. Bobby did a real nice Promised land and the first set was over. Second set was epic, Phil was jammin all night. Id never heard any band play Wharf Rat and it was a real treat for me personally. It was cover night for sure, after a killer He's Gone>Truckin>New Speedway>Caution they busted out Time>Death then a short pause before After Midnight>NFA with us clapping like children E: Baby Blue

Good times,

Virginia Al

P.S. I forgot to thank the tapers.... my bad I was kinda dazed. sorry for the poor review

Great recording of a great show. Have been to many post Garcia shows and this was easily the best!!! They rode Cumberland Blues to the moon and back, not once but twice, and Wharf Rat>He's Gone>Truckin' had the hairs on my proverbial back standing on end. Thank you to Further for a phenomenal show and to DATBRAD for sharing!!!!
